- Curriculum
We teach both the “soft” and the “hard” aspects of weight management.
The hard aspects being the science behind the drugs and the “soft” strategies being the psychological aspects of weight-management.
We will help you to get the best weight-loss results for your patients. We will do this by training you in coaching your patients to learn and consistently practice new healthy habits. We help our students by teaching them the latest research and best practice in this area. This is a core component of our course. Students will be taught various strategies during the training and how to engage their patients to start thinking and moving into this direction. We know this works, because the trainers are both happy converts to this method.
Why choose an online course?
- Online courses are generally less expensive than traditional class teaching.
- Work from anywhere. You can work from your kitchen, your bedroom or be sat next to the pool and study for half an hour before you have a dip in the water.
- Take more or less time to study the course. You are not tied down to study at the same rate as the rest of the class. You may decide to take more or less time on certain sections of the course. This is entirely up to you.
- Concentrate on the ideas and not the personalities of the teachers. Ideas can be influenced intentionally or unintentionally by the teacher or other students’ non-verbal communication. With online study, you are not exposed to this bias. You just see the text and the ideas.
- Get the latest information. Online courses can be updated quickly so that you are always getting the latest and most relevant information.
